About us

We believe that every young person deserves free, round-the-clock access to mental health resources.

That’s why Strength Potential created this platform!

We are dedicated to empowering young minds to take control of their mental well-being.

We have developed an innovative online platform designed to serve as an interactive hub for mental well-being. Here, you will find a collection of workbooks centred on supporting the mental well-being of our youth. These interactive workbooks offer a diverse range of techniques, tools, videos and coping strategies that empower young people to take charge of their mental health journeys.

About us

In addition to our comprehensive collection of workbooks, the MiiND platform goes above and beyond by offering a supportive lounge. This dedicated space is designed to support not only our youth but also parents, caregivers, mentors and all other individuals involved in the mental health journeys of young people.

We recognise the importance of creating a support network for the mental well-being of our community.

At MiiND, we deeply empathise with the challenges young people encounter in today’s society, including the difficulty in sometimes speaking up and seeking support. We are dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and providing young people with a safe space to seek support. Our icon, the MiiND smiley symbolises hope and extends a warm, friendly welcome, reminding everyone that mental health doesn’t have to be intimidating or scary.

Together, let’s break the stigma and embrace a new era of open dialogue and support.

Carmen Nielsen

Hi, I’m Carmen, the author and co-creator of MiiND. I hold an Honours and Master’s degree in Professional Psychology from the University of the Sunshine Coast. My lifelong passion has revolved around positively impacting the mental well-being of young individuals, providing them with essential techniques, strategies, and tools to thrive. I am dedicated to empowering young people to speak up and take control of their mental health journeys. In 2022, I had the privilege of joining the Strength Potential Team. Since then, I have had the opportunity to create a series of strategy workbooks aimed at targeting common mental health challenges. Additionally, I had the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development of the MiiND platform. By incorporating my educational background, passion, and experience, I strive to empower young people and make a lasting impact on their mental well-being throughout my work with MiiND.

Hi there! I’m Travis, the General Manager of Strength Potential. I am passionate about empowering young people to realise the positive impact they can have on their families, friends, and communities. Each young person possesses unique strengths and abilities that are invaluable, and I am dedicated to helping them unlock and harness these talents. My journey in working alongside young people began in high school, and this field has captivated me ever since. Since early 2020, Strength Potential has given me the incredible opportunity to assist young people in discovering their strengths and making meaningful contributions to their communities. I am honoured to be a part of the MiiND project, which provides a valuable resource for young people to explore their mental health journey in a safe and engaging way.
